Change of Identity through Cross-dressing. A historical phenomenon
“Do we really need a true sex? With a tenacity bordering on rigidity, Western societies have claimed the affirmative.”[1] In the period of transition between the Late Middle Ages and the Modern Age this “rigidity” put women to death who decided to live their life as a man by wearing men’s clothing.
