Lokomotive Kreuzberg (1974), about the band of the same name, demonstrates that rock music, politics and fun are not mutually exclusive. The film documents their tour through the Ruhr region. Wenn jeder tanzen würde, wie er wollte, na! (1972) is more about moving to music and shows young people from East Berlin formally and stiffly taking dance lessons, but also indulging uninhibitedly in modern rock music. By contrast, Unter der Oberfläche (1960) is completely without words: a visit to a West Berlin dance club. (ps)

Der Film Lokomotive Kreuzberg (1974) erkundet die Motivation der Bandmitglieder und begleitet sie auf einer Tournee durchs Ruhrgebiet.
