Every Sunday as well as additionally on Wednesdays during the summer and fall school vacations the museum offers an extensive insight into life in the Middle Ages for children and families. It focuses on life in the castle and the function of the castle as the centre of economic and political power. The tour begins in the special exhibition "Castles and Power" and ends in the Permanent Exhibition in the Zeughaus.
