patron of the art nouveau movement. Their daughter married the Tsar. The second son of
Queen Victoria, Prince Alfred, became the ruling Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha.
Her daughter Helena married Prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein, Prince Arthur
married Louise Margaret of Prussia, Prince Leopold married Helene of Waldeck-Pyrmont
and the youngest, Princess Beatrice, married Prince Henry of Battenberg.
